What I Do

I help moms who struggle with anger find calm by learning to tune into the messages their anger is sending and transform it into healing.

My Philosophy

I believe anger is a gift. It stops us in our tracks when we’ve blown through all the other, more subtle, warning signs that something isn’t quite right. But I think we often look at anger in the wrong way. We view it as something to control, eliminate, or hide. Instead, I believe we need to learn how to listen to our anger and allow it to guide us toward our true pain — the thing that actually needs healing.

My Methods

I begin by helping you learn how to understand your anger in a new way. We find ways to get in touch with your body’s built-in alarm system to better understand what is actually causing the pain that’s driving the anger. Once we get a better lay of the land, then we begin trying out different ways of better supporting and managing those emotions. I use a three-pronged approach, always attending to mind, body, and environment to optimize healing.

My Goals

My number one goal is to eliminate the shame associate with women’s experience of anger. I want you to understand it as a tool, not as something to feel guilty about or try to hide. I want to help you better understand what is beneath the anger and find healthy, sustainable ways to cope, all while gaining new insight into your amazing self.
